At a glance
France is a large country in Western Europe, and Paris is the usual starting point for Indian travellers. Most visitors fly into Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), which has the widest international connections. From there, high-speed TGV trains link Paris with major cities such as Lyon, Marseille and Strasbourg, so one arrival can open up several regions.
Our packages focus on two areas. Paris is the base for the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Seine and Montmartre, with a full day at Versailles. Paris Romance 4N and Paris with Disneyland 5N keep to one Paris hotel. Paris & Nice Côte d'Azur 7N adds the Riviera, where Nice works as a rail base for Èze, Antibes, Monaco and Cannes. Travellers often say a Paris and Nice split makes a balanced first trip.
Timing matters. April to June and September to October bring mild weather and smaller crowds than July and August. Winter is cool and often grey, but it suits museum-focused trips. Every package is land-only, so you book flights separately, and our planners can suggest arrival times that suit your city. Visa assistance is included, and the Schengen visa fee is extra.
Seven nights suits Paris plus one region. Our current France packages run from four to seven nights, and we can customise a longer trip. For deeper planning, read the France travel guide, places to visit in France and France trip cost. If you are also considering a compact alpine add-on, see Switzerland tour packages.

Season guide
April to June and September to October offer the strongest mix of mild weather, sightseeing conditions and crowd levels. July and August are the warmest and busiest months, with high hotel demand. Winter is cool, with daytime highs of about 8°C to 9°C in January and February, but it is quieter and suits museums. Lavender in Provence usually peaks from late June to mid-July, though timing varies by altitude. See the full when to visit France guide.
Day by day
Based on our Paris Romance 4N package. Your trip expert can stretch or shorten any day.
Land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Check in, rest and take a short walk to get your bearings. Keep the first evening simple, with a relaxed dinner near your hotel, because the next days include a full day at Versailles and a museum morning.
Spend the morning at the Louvre with a booked entry time, then walk through the historic centre to Notre-Dame and the Le Marais district. Choose one museum rather than several, because large collections need time to see properly. Take a long lunch and rest in the afternoon, then end the day with a stroll along the Seine.
Travel to Versailles for the royal palace and formal gardens. Your palace entry is booked in advance, and you leave early, because the gardens and estate distances make a rushed half-day inefficient. Return to Paris in the late afternoon, rest, and keep the evening free for a relaxed dinner in your neighbourhood.
Visit the Eiffel Tower at your timed entry, then spend the afternoon around the Trocadéro and the Champs-Élysées. In the evening, board a Seine dinner cruise, which passes the city's landmarks after dark. Finish with a walk through Montmartre, the hilltop district with its narrow streets and views over the city.
Have breakfast and check out. If your flight is later in the day, use the morning for a last walk or some shopping in nearby streets. Your driver takes you to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport for departure, allowing enough time for traffic, check-in and security.
Budget guide
Starting prices of our packages, per person on twin sharing, excl. GST and flights.
Four things move the price of a France trip. Hotel area and star category matter most, since central Paris and the Riviera cost more than outer districts. Trip length comes next, because each extra region adds nights and rail legs. Season counts too, and July, August and school holidays cost the most. Finally, attraction tickets not in your itinerary, private transfers and wine or dining experiences add to the total. Read more in France trip cost.
