Maldives Water Villa Honeymoon 4N gives couples four nights in an overwater villa at a resort in the Malé atolls. The villa has a private deck and direct lagoon access. It suits honeymooners and couples celebrating an anniversary who want privacy and a slow pace rather than a packed schedule.
The trip is built around rest. You arrive and transfer to the resort on day one, spend day two on the lagoon and the villa deck, and snorkel on the house reef on day three before a sunset cruise. Day four is open for a spa treatment or a private sandbank picnic, which we can add on request.
Half board, your resort transfer and the sunset cruise are included, along with visa assistance. Flights, drinks, spa treatments, the sandbank picnic, motorised water sports, travel insurance and GST are separate. Match your arrival time to the transfer first: our how to reach the Maldives guide explains why, and our trip cost guide covers extras.
Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.
Land at Velana International Airport and meet your resort representative. Transfer by speedboat or seaplane, depending on your resort. Check in to your water villa and settle in. Have dinner at the resort. Seaplanes do not fly after dark, so your arrival time decides the transfer, and we confirm this when we quote.
Start with breakfast on your villa deck or at the restaurant. The day is open for the lagoon, the beach and the villa's private deck. You can add a couples' spa treatment, which the resort books and charges separately. Dinner is at the resort.
Spend the morning snorkelling on the resort's house reef, where many properties offer direct reef access. In the late afternoon, join a sunset cruise on the lagoon. Conditions depend on the weather, so the resort may move the cruise to another evening.
Keep today unplanned. Swim, rest or try a non-motorised water sport at the resort. If you want a private sandbank picnic, ask us to add it, and the resort arranges it for a suitable day. Enjoy a final dinner at the resort.
Have breakfast and check out. Your resort transfer by speedboat or seaplane takes you back to Velana International Airport. Seaplanes operate in daylight only, so we match your flight time to the transfer window before you book flights.
Flights are not included.
Four nights in a water villa on twin sharing, with breakfast and dinner daily.
Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so a late arrival may need a different transfer or a night near Malé.
Match your resort to the transfer window before comparing room prices.
January to April is the driest, sunniest period and also the most in demand.
Spa treatments, the sandbank picnic, drinks and motorised water sports are extra.
Flights are not included and are booked separately.
Travel insurance, optional excursions and GST are extra.
Leave slack in the plan, because monsoon showers can delay boat trips.
FAQs
What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.
Four nights is enough for one resort stay with a villa, house reef snorkelling, a sunset cruise and a spa treatment. Choose five or seven nights if you want a slower pace or a split between two stays.

No. Our packages are land-only, so flights are booked separately. Your arrival time matters because seaplanes fly in daylight only, so our planners check your flight time against the resort transfer before you book.
Yes. A couples' spa treatment and a private sandbank picnic are common honeymoon additions. The resort arranges and charges them separately, and a flexible day in the plan keeps room for them. Tell us when you enquire.
A water villa gives a private deck and direct lagoon access, but costs more. A beach villa gives easier shore access and often better value. Tell your planner your preference, and we adjust the quote for either.
January to April is the driest and sunniest period and the most popular for honeymoons. Demand and prices are high then, so book early. Monsoon months bring lower prices but more rain. See our [best time to visit](/maldives-travel-guide/best-time-to-visit/) guide.
