About this trip

Vietnam Honeymoon 7N is built for couples who want romance without a rushed route. You spend two nights in Hanoi, one night on a Ha Long Bay cruise with a balcony cabin, two nights in Hoi An and two by the beach in Da Nang. Private transfers keep the pace relaxed.

Hanoi is an easy introduction, with the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and street food. Ha Long Bay adds limestone karsts and an overnight on the water. Hoi An brings lantern-lit evenings and an evening experience arranged for you, and Da Nang gives you time at My Khe Beach, with the Marble Mountains and Hai Van Pass nearby if you want an outing.

Hotels, daily breakfast, private transfers, the balcony-cabin cruise, the Hoi An evening experience and visa assistance are included. Flights, the e-visa fee, insurance and other meals are extra. March, April, October and November suit honeymooners, though central Vietnam can be wet in October. Read our Vietnam trip cost guide or the 5-day itinerary.

  • An overnight Ha Long Bay cruise in a balcony cabin
  • Lantern-lit evenings in Hoi An with a special evening experience
  • Hanoi's Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake at an easy pace
  • Two nights by the beach in Da Nang
  • Private transfers, so the pace stays relaxed

Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Land at Noi Bai International Airport and meet your driver for a private transfer, which avoids the airport taxi overcharging that travellers report. Check in and rest. In the evening, take a gentle walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, which is lovely after dark, and have a relaxed first dinner nearby.

    BreakfastNight in Hanoi
  2. Day 2: Hanoi at an easy pace

Explore the Old Quarter and see Hanoi's French colonial architecture at your own pace. Hanoi has Vietnam's strongest street-food culture, so share a few local dishes along the way. Keep the afternoon free. Tomorrow starts early, and travellers say couples enjoy the trip more when they avoid rushed transfers.

    BreakfastNight in Hanoi
  3. Day 3: Ha Long Bay cruise with a balcony cabin

Drive from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and board your cruise, where your cabin has a balcony. Sail among limestone karsts and caves in the UNESCO-listed seascape and watch the light change in the evening. The overnight format is far less rushed than a day cruise. Weather can change the route, so your planner confirms the plan.

    BreakfastNight in Ha Long Bay
  4. Day 4: Return to Hanoi, fly to Da Nang and Hoi An

Enjoy a slow breakfast on board, return to shore and transfer for your domestic flight to Da Nang. On landing, drive to Hoi An and check in near the old town. Take the evening to walk among the lanterns and settle into the town, which is at its best after dark.

    BreakfastNight in Hoi An
  5. Day 5: Hoi An evening experience

Spend the day at leisure in the Ancient Town, with its preserved trading-town core, tailor workshops and nearby countryside. In the evening, enjoy a special Hoi An experience arranged for the two of you. Add beach time separately if you like, because An Bang is not a walkable extension of every riverside hotel.

    BreakfastNight in Hoi An
  6. Day 6: Hoi An to Da Nang

Check out and transfer to Da Nang, where you stay near the beach. Da Nang is a practical base for My Khe Beach, the Marble Mountains and the Hai Van Pass. Spend the afternoon by the sea or at the spa, and keep the evening unplanned.

    BreakfastNight in Da Nang
  7. Day 7: Da Nang beach day

Today is yours. Relax on the beach, or choose one outing: the Marble Mountains, or a drive along the Hai Van Pass. Avoid squeezing in the Golden Bridge, which is far from the coast and takes a full day. A resort upgrade for these nights can be quoted on request.

    BreakfastNight in Da Nang
  8. Day 8: Departure from Da Nang

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your flight is later, use the morning for a last walk on the beach. Your driver takes you to Da Nang International Airport for departure. Ask your planner about onward flights, since most travellers connect through Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City on the way home.

FAQs

Vietnam Honeymoon 7N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is Vietnam good for a honeymoon?

Yes. Hoi An, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang and luxury resorts give varied romantic experiences without a single-resort stay. This package pairs a balcony cabin cruise, lantern-lit Hoi An evenings and beach nights, with private transfers keeping the pace relaxed.

What does the honeymoon package include?

Seven nights in comfort-category hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, private transfers, an overnight Ha Long Bay cruise with a balcony cabin, a Hoi An evening experience and visa assistance. Flights, the e-visa fee, insurance and other meals are extra.

Does the package include flights?

No. Our packages are land-only, so international flights are booked separately. Direct flights run from Delhi and Mumbai to Hanoi. Our planners can suggest timings, and an open-jaw route can avoid backtracking when you leave from Da Nang.

Which months suit a Vietnam honeymoon?

March, April, October and November are the favoured honeymoon months. Weather differs by region, and the central coast can see heavy rain in October. Check the month guide for your dates, and keep some flexibility for the cruise.

Can I upgrade the Da Nang stay to a resort?

Yes. A resort upgrade for the beach nights is a common request, and your planner can quote it. Vietnam has luxury beach resorts around Da Nang and Hoi An, so tell us your budget and the mood you want.

Is the Ha Long Bay cruise overnight?

Yes, with a balcony cabin. Travellers prefer an overnight cruise to a rushed day trip. Weather can alter the route, so your planner confirms the actual sailing plan before you pay, and flexible dates help in storm-prone months.
