About this trip

Singapore Malaysia Cruise 3N is a short first sailing from Singapore, with three nights in total: one night in Singapore before boarding and two nights on board. It suits first-time cruise travellers, couples and friends who want a city start and a few days at sea without a long trip. Because the trip is short, keep the Singapore evening light and the schedule simple.

On day one you arrive at Singapore Changi Airport, rest at your Singapore stay and visit Marina Bay in the evening. On day two you see Gardens by the Bay in the morning and then transfer to the cruise terminal for boarding. Day three is on board, and you leave the ship on day four for your flight home. The sailing's port calls depend on the date you choose, so confirm them with the cruise line.

The package includes one night in Singapore, two sailing nights in a cruise cabin, transfers to the cruise terminal and visa assistance. Flights, the Singapore visa fee, travel insurance and meals outside your booking are extra. For planning, read the Singapore cruise travel guide and the places to visit guide, and check the visa guide for Indians.

  • Gardens by the Bay, with the Supertree Grove, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest
  • Marina Bay and Merlion Park, with the nightly Spectra show in the evening
  • Two nights on board, with port calls as set in the sailing itinerary
  • A calm Singapore start that leaves time to rest before boarding
  • Visa assistance and transfers to the cruise terminal

Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Singapore

Land at Singapore Changi Airport and allow time for immigration and baggage collection. Take a taxi or private transfer to your Singapore stay, check in and rest after the journey. In the evening, walk to Marina Bay to see the skyline and, if your timing suits, the nightly Spectra light-and-water show. Keep the first evening light, because your cruise starts the next day.

    Night in Singapore
  2. Day 2: Gardens by the Bay and boarding

Start at Gardens by the Bay in the morning, when temperatures are milder, and visit the outdoor Supertree Grove. Book the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories separately if you want to see them. In the afternoon, check out of your Singapore stay, transfer to the cruise terminal and complete check-in and boarding in line with the sailing time in your booking.

    Night in On board
  3. Day 3: Day at sea

Spend the day on board. Dining times, onboard activities and any port calls follow the cruise line's sailing itinerary, which you can ask us for with your quote. Onboard rules are set by the cruise line, so read them before you sail. Keep your passport and visa papers within reach, and plan the day around the ship's schedule rather than shore visits.

    Night in On board
  4. Day 4: Leave the ship and depart

Leave the ship in line with your sailing schedule and collect your bags. Transfer to Singapore Changi Airport by taxi or private vehicle for your flight home. Allow extra time for traffic and check-in, because a transfer at busy times can take longer than expected. Our planners can help you choose a flight time that suits the day you leave the ship.

FAQs

Singapore Malaysia Cruise 3N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

How many nights are on the ship in this package?

The package has three nights in total: one night in Singapore before boarding and two nights on board. Boarding is on day two, and you leave the ship on day four. Check the exact sailing times in your booking, because they depend on the cruise line's schedule for your date.

Does the package include flights?

No. Flights to and from Singapore are booked separately. Direct flights run from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru to Singapore Changi Airport, taking about four and a half to five and a half hours. Our planners can suggest arrival timings that fit your boarding date.

Which ports will the ship visit?

The port calls depend on the sailing you choose and are shown in the cruise line's itinerary for that date. The package name refers to Malaysia, but our research does not confirm the ports. Check the sailing itinerary before you book, and compare it with the places in our travel guide.

What cabin types are available?

Our research lists four cabin categories: budget, standard, premium and luxury. The category you get is confirmed in your written quote. Cabin size, features and meal arrangements depend on the category and the cruise line, so read the booking details before you sail.

Is this package suitable for seniors or families?

Yes, with planning. The MRT and metered taxis are straightforward for senior travellers, and Gardens by the Bay includes indoor conservatories for shaded time. Families can follow the same plan with shorter days. Confirm accessibility with the cruise line and with each attraction you plan to visit.

How do I get the Singapore visa for this trip?

Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Singapore entry visa. Apply within 30 days before arrival, with a passport valid for at least six months. Visa assistance is included in this package, and the government visa fee is separate. Submit the free SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival.
