Nepal with Chitwan 7N adds a lowland wildlife stop to the usual Kathmandu and Pokhara circuit. It is the plan to choose if you want temples and stupas, a lakeside town, mountain views on a clear morning and a chance to see rhinos and other wildlife in one trip. It suits families, couples and small groups.
You spend two nights in Kathmandu, two in Pokhara, two near Chitwan National Park and a last night back in Kathmandu. That is three long road transfers, so the plan keeps each day simple. Chitwan offers jeep safaris, canoeing and Tharu village experiences, but nobody can promise tiger sightings. Rhinos are the more realistic highlight.
Private vehicles carry you between stops, and breakfast, airport transfers and entry-document guidance are included. Flights, domestic flights unless listed in your quote, other meals, park fees and activities not listed and travel insurance are extra. See our Nepal places to visit and Nepal trip cost guides, or compare it with our shorter five-night Nepal Highlights plan.
Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.
Land at Tribhuvan International Airport and meet your driver for the transfer to your hotel. Check in and rest. If your flight arrives early, make a short visit to Boudhanath or Pashupatinath. Keep the day light, because the days ahead include long road transfers and early starts.
Visit the UNESCO-listed sights of Kathmandu: Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan. Start early and allow buffer time, because traffic and festival closures can slow the day. If you did not see Boudhanath and Pashupatinath yesterday, add them now or keep them for the last night.
Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by road. The drive commonly takes six to nine hours, so leave after breakfast and plan stops. Check in and walk along Phewa Lake in the evening. A domestic flight is faster, but weather delays are frequent, so your planner confirms any flight option in the quote.
Go up to Sarangkot for sunrise, when clear skies show the Annapurna range. Cloud changes quickly, so the visit can move to the first clear morning. Spend the rest of the day around Pokhara and Phewa Lake. A short easy hike is a common add-on for those with energy.
Travel from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park by road, and check in to your lodge or hotel. Rest after the journey. Your planner confirms the evening plan with you, which may include a short walk or a village visit. Chitwan is a lowland wildlife area, so go in with realistic expectations.
Spend the day on jungle activities, which may include a jeep safari, canoeing and a Tharu village visit, as confirmed in your quote. Rhinos are a more realistic sighting than tigers, and safari quality depends on season and guide. Treat every animal you see as a bonus, not a promise.
Travel back toward Kathmandu by road after breakfast. The journey is long, so rest on arrival and keep the evening free. Staying the last night in Kathmandu keeps a buffer before your international flight, and it lets you visit any sight you missed earlier, such as Boudhanath.
Have breakfast and check out. Your driver takes you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home. Leave generous time for traffic and check-in, and carry your passport or Election Commission voter ID, because Nepal immigration does not accept Aadhaar as a travel document.

FAQs
What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.
Yes. Seven nights is a comfortable length for all three, with two nights in each stop and a final night in Kathmandu. Fewer nights would turn the long road transfers into most of your trip.
Do not count on it. Rhinos are a more realistic sighting, and safari quality depends on the season and your guide. Tigers live in Nepal's lowland parks, but no operator can promise one on a given day.
Seven nights in 4-star hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, private airport transfers, road transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary, and entry-document guidance. Flights, other meals, unlisted fees, insurance and GST are extra.
It suits families who are comfortable with long road days. Wildlife activities and lower-altitude walks work well with children, and private vehicles help. Your planner can shorten days or add a rest stop for young children or older relatives.
October and November, and March and April, are generally the most comfortable and popular months for travel in Nepal. Safari conditions vary with the season, so ask your planner what to expect for your dates.
No. Indian nationals do not need a visa for Nepal. Carry a passport or Election Commission voter ID. Nepal immigration states that Aadhaar is not accepted as a travel document, so keep a valid alternative ready.
