About this trip

Malaysia Honeymoon 5N combines two sides of Malaysia for couples: Kuala Lumpur for city lights, food and shopping, and Langkawi for beaches, mangroves and island-hopping. It does not need a long-haul journey, and the compact route keeps hotel changes to a minimum.

You spend two nights in Kuala Lumpur, then fly to Langkawi for two nights and a sunset cruise. You return to Kuala Lumpur for a final night. That buffer protects your international flight, because island weather and boat or flight delays can disrupt same-day connections.

Breakfast, private airport transfers, sightseeing by private vehicle as per the itinerary, the sunset cruise and visa assistance are included. Flights, domestic flights, other meals, unlisted entry fees and travel insurance are extra. Room upgrades and a couples spa treatment can be added on request. Read the Malaysia travel guide and best time to visit Malaysia before you choose dates.

  • KLCC, the Petronas Towers area and Bukit Bintang after dark
  • Langkawi beaches, mangroves and island-hopping
  • A Langkawi sunset cruise
  • Room upgrades and a couples spa treatment available on request
  • A buffer night in Kuala Lumpur before your flight home

Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur

Land at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and meet your driver for the private transfer to your hotel. Check in and rest after the journey. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed dinner in the KLCC area, with the Petronas Twin Towers lit up after dark. Keep the first night easy.

    BreakfastNight in Kuala Lumpur
  2. Day 2: KLCC, Batu Caves and Bukit Bintang

Spend the morning around KLCC and the Petronas Towers, then visit Batu Caves. Do not give a whole day to the towers; combine them with the wider KLCC area and Bukit Bintang after dark. Kuala Lumpur blends Malay, Chinese and Indian food, so choose a different cuisine for dinner.

    BreakfastNight in Kuala Lumpur
  3. Day 3: Fly to Langkawi

Fly to Langkawi by domestic flight, which is booked separately, and meet your driver for the transfer to your resort. Langkawi is compact and easy to package, with beaches, mangroves and island-hopping. Spend the rest of the day on the beach or at the resort, and add a couples spa treatment if you like.

    BreakfastNight in Langkawi
  4. Day 4: Mangroves, island-hopping and a sunset cruise

Explore Langkawi's mangroves and nearby islands during the day, then rest at your resort. Towards the end of the day, join a sunset cruise. Beaches and attractions are spread across the island, so a private vehicle or a rental car is more useful than relying on taxis.

    BreakfastNight in Langkawi
  5. Day 5: Return to Kuala Lumpur

Enjoy a slow morning, then fly back to Kuala Lumpur. After check-in, enjoy a final dinner and some shopping around Bukit Bintang. Sleeping in the city tonight gives you a buffer before your international flight, because island weather can disrupt same-day connections.

    BreakfastNight in Kuala Lumpur
  6. Day 6: Departure from Kuala Lumpur

Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your flight is later in the day, use the morning for last shopping or a relaxed walk near your hotel. Your driver takes you to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for departure, leaving enough time for traffic and check-in.

FAQs

Malaysia Honeymoon 5N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is 5 nights enough for a Malaysia honeymoon?

Yes, for a compact city and beach trip. Two nights in Kuala Lumpur, two in Langkawi and a final night in the city give a relaxed pace. Longer stays suit couples who want Penang, Sabah or more beach time.

What does the Malaysia Honeymoon package include?

Five nights in comfort-category hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, private airport transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary, a Langkawi sunset cruise and visa assistance. Flights, domestic flights, other meals, unlisted fees and insurance are not included.

Does the package include flights to Malaysia?

No. Our packages are land-only, so flights are booked separately. The Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi domestic flights are also separate. Direct flights from some Indian cities take about four to six hours. Our planners can suggest timings.

When is the best time for a Langkawi honeymoon?

December to February is generally favourable for Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, with January and February comparatively drier. Rain is possible all year. Heavy rain is likely in October and November, so plan dates carefully.

Can I upgrade the room or add a couples spa?

Yes. Beachfront or villa-style rooms and a couples spa treatment can be added on request. Prices depend on the resort and dates, so ask your planner for a written quote that lists every inclusion.

Do Indians need a visa for this package?

Indian nationals can currently enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 30 days until 31 December 2026, according to Malaysian Immigration. You still need a valid passport and the arrival card. Check the rule again before you book.
