About this trip

Europe Honeymoon 9N is a romantic route through Paris, the Swiss lakes and two Italian cities. It suits couples who want city evenings, lake scenery and upscale dining, with a scenic rail journey between the stops. Three nights in Paris, two in Lucerne, two in Venice and two in Florence give each stop room to breathe, with private transfers as per the itinerary.

Days one to three are in Paris, with the Louvre on a timed entry, the Eiffel Tower, an evening Seine cruise and a candlelit dinner. On day four you travel by scenic rail to Lucerne, where day five brings a lake cruise along the water. Day six takes you to Venice, and day seven is spent exploring the pedestrian canals and lagoon islands. On day eight you travel to Florence, where day nine covers the walkable Renaissance centre. Day ten is departure.

The package includes private transfers, the scenic rail journey, the lake cruise, candlelit dining, timed landmark entries, daily breakfast and visa assistance. Flights, the Schengen visa fee, travel insurance, city taxes, meals beyond breakfast and optional activities are extra. Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Paris

Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Check in, rest after the journey and take a slow walk along the river to settle in. Keep the first day light, since the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower are booked for the next days.

    BreakfastNight in Paris
  2. Day 2: The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower

Spend the morning at the Louvre on your timed entry, focusing on a few galleries rather than the whole collection. In the afternoon, visit the Eiffel Tower on a pre-booked slot. Rest before dinner, and allow time for queues and security at both landmarks.

    BreakfastNight in Paris
  3. Day 3: Seine cruise and a candlelit dinner

Spend a relaxed day exploring Paris on foot, with a long café lunch. In the evening, take a Seine cruise to see the city's landmarks from the river. Finish the day with a candlelit dinner, as per your itinerary.

    BreakfastNight in Paris
  4. Day 4: Scenic rail to Lucerne

Travel from Paris to Lucerne by scenic rail, with your luggage handled by the private transfer as per the itinerary. Check in at your lakefront hotel and walk along the water. Relax in the evening, since the next day includes the lake cruise.

    BreakfastNight in Lucerne
  5. Day 5: Lake cruise on Lucerne

Spend the day on a lake cruise, with time on the water and along the shore. Keep the afternoon for a slow walk and a café stop, or a mountain viewpoint if the weather allows. Enjoy an easy dinner nearby before an early night.

    BreakfastNight in Lucerne
  6. Day 6: Travel to Venice

Travel from Lucerne to Venice as per the itinerary, allowing time for the station-to-hotel transfer. Check in at your hotel near Santa Lucia and take a first walk through the canal lanes. Pack light for the bridges and vaporetto changes ahead.

    BreakfastNight in Venice
  7. Day 7: Venice canals and lagoon islands

Walk the pedestrian canals early, when the lanes are quieter. Take a vaporetto to one of the lagoon islands and return to the historic centre in the afternoon. Keep the evening relaxed and rest early, since the next day is a rail transfer.

    BreakfastNight in Venice
  8. Day 8: Venice to Florence

Travel from Venice to Florence as per the itinerary. Check in at your hotel in the Santa Maria Novella area and take an afternoon walk through the historic centre. Pre-booked entry for the Uffizi and the Accademia is recommended, because spontaneous entry is unreliable in peak months.

    BreakfastNight in Florence
  9. Day 9: Renaissance Florence

Spend the morning at the Uffizi and the Accademia on your booked entries. In the afternoon, explore the walkable historic centre, with its churches, bridges and markets. Finish with an easy dinner in the old town.

    BreakfastNight in Florence
  10. Day 10: Departure from Florence

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Your private transfer takes you to your onward point, such as the airport or rail station, leaving enough time for check-in. Allow extra time for travel in peak months.

Good to know

  • Nine nights in four bases: three in Paris, two in Lucerne, two in Venice and two in Florence.

  • Breakfast is included daily; other meals are extra.

  • Flights are not included. Ask your planner to compare single-ticket options for your city.

  • Venice works best with light luggage, because bridges and vaporetto changes make heavy bags hard to carry.

  • If you add a mountain excursion, confirm cable-car operations locally, as weather can close viewpoints.

  • Pre-book the Uffizi and the Accademia in Florence, because spontaneous entry is unreliable in peak months.

  • The Schengen visa fee, travel insurance and city taxes are extra.

  • June to August needs earlier booking, especially for Venice and Paris.

FAQs

Europe Honeymoon 9N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is nine nights enough for a honeymoon in Europe?

Nine nights covers four cities with two or three nights in each. That gives time for the main sights and a scenic rail journey without a rushed pace. If you want longer in one city, ask your planner to rebalance the nights within the total.

What does the Europe Honeymoon package include?

Nine nights in comfort-category hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, private transfers as per the itinerary, a scenic rail journey, a lake cruise, candlelit dining, timed landmark entries and visa assistance. Flights, the Schengen visa fee, insurance and extras are not included.

Does this package include flights?

No. Our packages are land-only, so international flights are booked separately. Direct services operate from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, subject to season. Our planners can suggest arrival and departure timings from your city.

Which months suit a honeymoon in Europe?

April, May, September and October are the most suitable months, with mild weather and fewer crowds. June to August is busy and expensive, and December brings Christmas markets with festive pricing. Choose your month before you book the flights.

Can we change the cities or nights?

Yes, within limits. You can rebalance the nights between Paris, Lucerne, Venice and Florence, or drop a stop. The route and quote are updated before you confirm. Adding a city usually needs extra transfers and a longer trip.

How early should we book this honeymoon package?

Book early for peak months, especially June to August, when Venice, Paris and Switzerland need earlier booking. Ask for a written quote that lists every inclusion, and confirm the Schengen visa timing with your planner before you travel.
