Singapore Malaysia Thailand 9N links three countries in one plan: three nights each in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Thailand. It suits friends, families and repeat travellers who want a longer trip with city sightseeing, Malaysian food and heritage, and a final stay in Thailand.
In Singapore you cover Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Little India and Sentosa Island. A coach of about five to six hours takes you to Kuala Lumpur for the Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, Bukit Bintang and a Malacca day trip. Our research does not list Thailand stops, so your planner confirms the city and plan at booking.
Hotels are comfort category on twin sharing, with daily breakfast, airport transfers, the coach transfer, listed sightseeing and visa assistance. Flights, including Kuala Lumpur to Thailand, other meals, tickets, visa fees and travel insurance are extra. Read the Singapore and Malaysia visa guide before you book.
Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.
Land at Singapore Changi Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in and rest after the journey. If you feel fresh, take a short evening walk around Marina Bay to get your bearings. Keep the first day light, because the next two days involve a lot of walking in warm, humid weather.
Start at Marina Bay, then visit Gardens by the Bay. Later, explore Chinatown and Little India, grouped by MRT line so you do not cross the city repeatedly. Leave time for a hawker-centre meal, since travellers often rate the food and neighbourhood time above rushing between attractions. Keep the first walk short and plan indoor breaks in the afternoon heat.
Spend the day on Sentosa Island, which has Universal Studios Singapore, resorts, beaches and family attractions. Pick one main attraction and reserve timed entry in advance; tickets are extra. Beach time alone rarely fills a day. Return to the hotel in the evening and pack for the overland journey tomorrow.
Check out and travel overland to Kuala Lumpur by coach. The journey commonly takes about five to six hours, and border queues and weekend traffic can add time, so no fixed sightseeing is planned today. Check in at your hotel and take an easy evening walk or meal around Bukit Bintang.
See the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC, then visit Batu Caves, a well-known Hindu shrine. Use rail or ride-hailing between stops instead of long road transfers at peak hours. In the afternoon, explore the food districts and malls of Bukit Bintang, and rest during the hottest hours. Visit Batu Caves earlier in the day, when the heat is lighter, and allow time to walk around the site.
Travel to Malacca for its Peranakan and colonial streetscape around Jonker Street and the historic centre. Start early and keep time for local food. Genting Highlands can replace Malacca if you prefer a cooler mountain day; ask your planner. You return to Kuala Lumpur for the night and prepare for tomorrow's onward travel.
Transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your flight to Thailand, which is booked separately. On arrival you are met and taken to your hotel. Keep the rest of the day free to settle in. Your planner confirms the Thailand city and hotel area before you travel. Confirm the airport transfer time with your planner before you travel.
Today is a sightseeing day in Thailand. We do not fix the stops in this plan, because they depend on the city and your interests. Your planner confirms them when you book, and lists any entry fees or activities that are included or extra, so you know what to expect.
Use today at your own pace for rest, shopping or an activity you choose with your planner. Planned activities are added as extras. A slower day suits the trip well after several busy sightseeing days across Singapore and Malaysia. Pack and confirm your departure timing for tomorrow. Use the free time to rest between your earlier city days.
Enjoy breakfast and check out. If your flight is later in the day, use the morning for a relaxed walk or last shopping. You are transferred to the airport for departure, with enough time for check-in. Your flight home is booked separately. Your planner confirms the airport transfer time with you before departure.
