About this trip

Phuket Beach Break 4N is a four-night stay on Phuket, in southern Thailand. It is built around beach time, one full day for the Phi Phi Islands and easy visits to Old Phuket Town and the island's temples. It suits couples, families and friends who want a relaxed island trip with one hotel base.

Phuket's main resort area is Patong, which suits beach time, restaurants and nightlife. This package uses Kata or Karon as the base instead, both close to beaches and restaurants. Day three is a full-day Phi Phi Islands boat excursion, which depends on marine-weather and national-park access, so conditions are checked before the trip. Day four covers Big Buddha, with hilltop views across Phuket, and Wat Chalong.

Breakfast is served daily, and airport transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary and visa assistance are included. Flights, other meals, entry fees and charges for activities not listed are extra. Because four nights leaves limited time, we suggest seven nights if you also want Krabi. Our planners can adjust the plan for your dates, your group and your interests.

  • Beach time from a Kata or Karon base
  • Phi Phi Islands full-day boat excursion
  • Old Phuket Town's Sino-Portuguese streets and markets
  • Big Buddha hilltop views and Wat Chalong temple
  • Breakfast daily and visa assistance included

Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Phuket

Land at Phuket International Airport (HKT) and transfer to your hotel in Kata or Karon, depending on your room category. Check in and rest after the journey. In the evening, walk the beach road and choose a restaurant nearby. Keep the first day light, because the next days include a full-day boat trip.

    BreakfastNight in Phuket
  2. Day 2: Beach day and Old Phuket Town

Spend the morning on the beach, with shade breaks during the hottest hours. In the late afternoon, visit Old Phuket Town. Walk its Sino-Portuguese streets, try local food and cafes, and browse the markets. Visiting in the late afternoon avoids the strongest midday heat.

    BreakfastNight in Phuket
  3. Day 3: Phi Phi Islands boat excursion

Join a full-day boat excursion to the Phi Phi Islands, known for limestone scenery, beaches and snorkelling. Check marine-weather and national-park access conditions before the day, and confirm the boat type with your planner. Pack a dry bag, sunscreen and water shoes, and keep the evening relaxed.

    BreakfastNight in Phuket
  4. Day 4: Big Buddha and Wat Chalong

Visit Big Buddha on its hilltop, where the views cross Phuket and a large Buddhist statue and temple complex stands. In the afternoon, visit Wat Chalong, the best-known Buddhist temple on the island. Cover your shoulders and knees, and remove footwear where requested. Keep the rest of the afternoon free.

    BreakfastNight in Phuket
  5. Day 5: Departure from Phuket

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Your transfer takes you to Phuket International Airport for your flight. Allow extra time for road traffic and check-in, and keep your passport and travel documents easy to reach.

Good to know

  • Four nights in one Phuket hotel, so you do not change hotels during the trip.

  • The Phi Phi Islands day depends on marine weather and national-park access; check before you book a speedboat.

  • Temples require covered shoulders and knees, and footwear is removed where requested.

  • Patong has late-night noise near Bangla Road, so choose a hotel away from it if you stay in Patong.

  • Breakfast is included daily; other meals are extra.

  • Flights are not included and are booked separately.

  • Entry fees, park or marine access charges and activities not listed in the itinerary are extra.

  • Indian ordinary-passport holders can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days, but the Thailand Digital Arrival Card must be submitted online within 3 days before arrival. See the [Phuket and Krabi visa guide](/visa/phuket-krabi-visa-for-indians/).

  • From May to October rain is frequent, so keep some flexibility for boat days.

FAQs

Phuket Beach Break 4N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is four nights enough for a Phuket beach break?

Four nights gives time for beach days, Old Phuket Town, a Phi Phi Islands boat day and the main temples. Phuket is a good single base for resort time. If you also want Krabi, a seven-night trip is a better fit, because the two places are connected by road and need a full day to combine.

What does the Phuket Beach Break package include?

Four nights in comfort-category hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, airport arrival and departure transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary, the Phi Phi Islands boat excursion and visa assistance. Flights, other meals, entry fees, travel insurance and GST are extra.

Does the package include flights to Phuket?

No. Packages are land-only, so flights are booked separately. Direct services from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru are available to Phuket, with flight times of about four and a half hours. Schedules and airlines can change, so our planners can suggest arrival and departure timings from your city.

Which area should I stay in on Phuket?

Patong suits nightlife and convenience, but a hotel away from Bangla Road means less noise at night. Kata and Karon suit a beach base close to restaurants, and Old Phuket Town appeals to travellers who want cafes and historic streets. Premium and luxury options include Kata Noi, Kamala, Bang Tao, Surin and Nai Harn.

When is the best time for a Phuket beach break?

November to March has the lowest rainfall and suits beach and boat days best, with January and February hot and mostly dry. This is also the busiest period, with holiday crowds in December. From May to October rain is frequent, and the sea can be rougher at times.

Is Phuket suitable for families and senior travellers?

Beaches, pools and short boat trips can suit children, but check sea conditions, transfer times and age limits for each activity. Indian restaurants are available in Patong, Kata, Phuket Town and Ao Nang. Senior travellers should note that steep viewpoints, speedboats and wet landings may be unsuitable for some.
