About this trip

Krabi Four Islands 3N is a three-night stay in Krabi, in southern Thailand, with Ao Nang as the single base. It suits couples and friends who want beaches, limestone scenery and a boat day in a short trip without changing hotels. Ao Nang is the practical base for beaches, restaurants and boat trips to Railay and nearby islands.

Day two is the Four Islands route, which links Tup Island, Chicken Island, Poda Island and nearby snorkelling or beach stops. Tides affect the sandbar between islands, so the timing of the day depends on conditions. On day three, a boat takes you to Railay Beach, known for its beaches, limestone cliffs and climbing areas, and there is an optional inland visit to Emerald Pool and Hot Spring.

Breakfast is served daily, and airport transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary and visa assistance are included. Flights, other meals, entry fees and charges for activities not listed are extra. Because three nights is a short stay, we suggest seven nights if you also want Phuket. Our planners can adjust the plan for your dates, your group and your comfort with boat trips.

  • Four Islands route: Tup, Chicken and Poda islands with snorkelling stops
  • Railay Beach by boat from Ao Nang, with limestone cliffs and beaches
  • Ao Nang as a single beach base for all three nights
  • Optional inland visit to Emerald Pool and Hot Spring
  • Breakfast daily and visa assistance included

Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Krabi and Ao Nang

Arrive in Krabi and transfer to your hotel in Ao Nang, the practical base for beaches, restaurants and boat trips. Check in and rest after the journey. In the evening, walk the main road to find restaurants and boat-ticket offices, which makes booking the next day's boat trip easier. Keep the first day light.

    BreakfastNight in Krabi
  2. Day 2: The Four Islands boat route

Take a boat from Ao Nang for the Four Islands route, which links Tup Island, Chicken Island, Poda Island and nearby snorkelling or beach stops. Tides affect the sandbar between islands, so your operator will confirm the timing for the day. Pack sunscreen, a towel and a dry bag, and drink plenty of water during the stops.

    BreakfastNight in Krabi
  3. Day 3: Railay Beach and an optional inland visit

Take a boat to Railay Beach for beaches, limestone cliffs and climbing areas. Protect your luggage from spray during the beach landing. In the afternoon, rest in Ao Nang or, if the schedule allows, visit Emerald Pool and Hot Spring inland. The forest path to the pool can be slippery after rain, so wear shoes with grip.

    BreakfastNight in Krabi
  4. Day 4: Departure from Krabi

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Your transfer takes you to Krabi airport for your flight. If your flight is in the afternoon, use the morning for a last walk along the Ao Nang beach front or a final meal. Allow time for the transfer and check-in.

FAQs

Krabi Four Islands 3N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is three nights enough for Krabi Four Islands?

Three nights covers the Four Islands route and a Railay Beach day, but it leaves little room for weather. Boat trips depend on sea and tide conditions. If the boat day is cancelled or changed, a flexible plan helps. If you also want Phuket, a seven-night trip is a better fit.

What does the Krabi Four Islands package include?

Three nights in comfort-category hotels on twin sharing, daily breakfast, airport arrival and departure transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary and visa assistance. The Four Islands route and the Railay Beach visit are part of the plan. Flights, other meals, entry fees, travel insurance and GST are extra.

Does the package include flights to Krabi?

No. Packages are land-only, so flights are booked separately. Direct services from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru are listed for the Phuket and Krabi area, with flight times of about four and a half hours. Schedules and airlines can change, so our planners will confirm the best route to Krabi when you book.

Can I add Phuket to this Krabi package?

Yes, but it needs more nights. Phuket and Krabi are connected by road, and a combined trip works best over seven days or more. A planner can quote a longer trip that adds Phuket, with the transfer between the two places shown as a separate line in the quote.

When is the best time to take this package?

November to March has the lowest rainfall and suits boat trips best, with January and February hot and mostly dry. This is also the busiest period. From May to October rain is frequent, and sea conditions can make boat trips harder to run as planned.

Is this package suitable for children or senior travellers?

Beaches and short boat trips can suit children, but parents should check sea conditions and age limits for each activity. Senior travellers should check boat and landing details, because speedboats, wet landings and uneven paths may be unsuitable for some. Tell your planner about any mobility needs.
