About this trip

Kenya Safari 6N is a six-night trip built around Maasai Mara National Reserve, the reserve known for the Great Migration and big-game safaris. It starts and ends in Nairobi, the main international gateway through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). It suits first-time safari visitors and travellers who want one reserve explored in depth rather than several stops.

Nights one and six are in Nairobi, where the city's attractions and its role as a safari base make it a practical start and finish. Nights two to five are in Maasai Mara. Private safari vehicles take you on game drives there, and July to October is the main safari season, when the Great Migration is especially good.

The package is land-only. Flights to and from Nairobi are booked separately, and our planners can suggest timings from your city. Visa assistance is included, while the visa fee, travel insurance, meals and activities not listed, and entry fees are extra. Ask for a written quote that shows every inclusion before you decide.

  • Nairobi city attractions and a base for the safari
  • Four nights in Maasai Mara National Reserve
  • Game drives in a private safari vehicle
  • The Great Migration, the main draw from July to October
  • A Nairobi night before departure, so the journey home is not rushed
