Day-by-day itinerary

Your trip expert can stretch, shorten or swap any day.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong

Land at Hong Kong International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui by private vehicle. Check in and rest after the journey. In the evening, walk the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade for harbour views and the skyline. Keep the first night light so the family is fresh for the days ahead.

    Night in Hong Kong
  2. Day 2: Victoria Peak, Central and Sheung Wan

Start with breakfast, then travel up to Victoria Peak for the classic panorama over the harbour and Kowloon. Allow time for the Peak Tram queue, or take a bus or taxi up instead. In the afternoon, walk through Central and Sheung Wan, where temples, markets and tram streets contrast with the skyscrapers. Keep a loose route, because steep escalators and heat slow the pace.

    BreakfastNight in Hong Kong
  3. Day 3: Hong Kong Disneyland

Spend the day at Hong Kong Disneyland with entry as per your itinerary. Check the official calendar for park hours, attraction closures and any timed-entry requirements before you go. Plan rest breaks, stroller-friendly routes and indoor shows for the middle of the day. Return to Tsim Sha Tsui in the evening. Do not add Macau to this day.

    BreakfastNight in Hong Kong
  4. Day 4: Lantau Island and Ngong Ping

Travel to Lantau Island for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, with its scenic journey over the island. Visit the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery on the plateau. Check cable-car operations and the weather before you set out, because wind or maintenance can interrupt the service. Return to the city in the afternoon to rest.

    BreakfastNight in Hong Kong
  5. Day 5: Mong Kok markets and departure

Have breakfast and check out. Visit Mong Kok's street markets in the morning for local food and shopping, and keep valuables secure in the crowded lanes. Your private transfer then takes you to Hong Kong International Airport, with enough time for check-in and immigration. Keep the morning relaxed and allow extra time for traffic on the way to the airport.

FAQs

Hong Kong Disneyland Family 4N: FAQs

What travellers ask about this trip. Your trip expert can answer anything else.

Is Hong Kong good for a family holiday?

Yes. Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park, Ngong Ping and efficient public transport work well with children. Walking, stairs and humidity need planning, so build rest breaks into each day and keep one indoor option for rain or heat. Families with young children often find one indoor activity a day helps.

Does this package include flights?

No. The package is land-only, so flights are booked separately. Our planners can suggest arrival and departure timings from your city. Nonstop flights from several Indian cities take roughly two and a half to six hours, depending on the city and schedule.

Do Indians need a visa for Hong Kong?

Indian passport holders normally visit visa-free for up to 14 days after completing free online Pre-arrival Registration. The passport should be valid for at least six months. Registration is not a visa and does not guarantee entry, so keep your confirmation with you.

Is one Disneyland day enough?

For most families, yes. One full day covers the rides and seasonal entertainment at a relaxed pace. If your children prefer Ocean Park, your planner can discuss swapping the park before the quote is final. Allow time for rest breaks, and check the official calendar for park hours on your dates.

Can I add Macau to this package?

Yes, but do not combine Disneyland with Macau on the same day, because queues, transfers and evening transport make that unreliable. Macau works best as an overnight stay. Our Hong Kong and Macau package adds it with two nights. Keep the Macau visit as its own overnight stay.

When is the best time for this trip?

October to December is generally best, with cooler, drier weather. March and April are comfortable but more humid and showery. Summer is hot, humid and rainy, with typhoon risk, so plan indoor backups if you travel then. October to December is also peak season, so book early.
